Depart from Agadir toward Taroudant, a charming fortified town known as “Little Marrakech.” Explore its medina and walls before continuing through saffron-producing landscapes to Taliouine. Cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages and desert plateaus, then descend to the palm oasis of Agdez for dinner and overnight in a traditional riad.
Follow the spectacular Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest palm oasis filled with kasbahs and ksour. Pass through Nkob and Alnif as desert landscapes grow wider.
